Gloomstalker has some good spells and all the abilities are great but after the first round of combat it really drops off. Go for rapier dex build. Dual wielding is bad, and as a ranger you have other uses for bonus action, hunters mark for example. We don't know exactly what the gloomstalker will look like in terms of abilities - it may not be like 5e. It is likely they will recognize it as overpowered and need the whole invisibility thing.
