Dec 23, 2023 · Starting a couple of days ago (12/19/2023) I can no longer turn on or off closed caption by using Google Assistant - press the button on the Gemini Remote and say “turn on captioning”. I am not aware of any update that occurred. If the closed captioning feature is missing words, or not working at all, it's likely due to a technical issue with your receiver.
