In the setting for IPv4 change the Gateway Address from 10.0.0.1 to 192.168.0.1. Go to Connected Devices and select Computers. Wait for the Network Extender to show in the menu as Connected via Ethernet, which will show both IP and MAC addresses. When the device name appears, record the IP address for the next step.
