Hi Guys, I just wanted to share something I have found that works on my JK Wrangler, A few weeks ago the Engine Management Light came on and the car went under powered and staggered when on the throddle. After 2 weeks of stuffing around in the shed I have found how to reset the limp mode. Under the hood, 1. Disconect NEG battery terminal. 2. I changed: 1. Both camshaft position sensors (I was getting bank 1 and bank 2 errors) - came back. 2. Camshaft actuator solenoids - came back. 3. PCM - came back. 4. Wiring and connector from harness to sensor on both sides.To help anyone else experiencing limp mode, the acceleration is capped at 20%; consequently, the transmission shifts before the car has enough revs to enable an upshift without lugging the engine.
