Re: Onan engine problems -- Miller 301G. First thing to check is the fuel cut off solenoid. It's the only thing that screws into the carb with one wire on it. The little sucker has a plunger/needle that blocks the main jet during shutdown. Mid 70's model with a Onan CCKA engine. Since it does not run you have no way of knowing if it has any problems on the welder side. Parts for the Onan are easily available from any Cummins/Onan dealer.
