Sophia Credits on transcripts and Grad School. I wanted to give you all my experience applying to grad school having sophia credits embedded in my undergrad transcripts. Just want to reiterate this is strictly my own experience with the process. I had 5 classes (15 credits) from Sophia and 6 credits from CompTIA certs embedded in my transcripts.Cost for 9 classes at SNHU: $8640 + books, and 72 weeks of time. I saved over $8,000 and cut my time to graduation by over a year. And that's with me all but stopping working on Sophia classes for 8 weeks while cost accounting beat the shit out of me. It is absolutely worth it.

This is 100% not true - Sophia courses can absolutely be used to cover gen Ed’s and are still accepted. Your son can still take courses thru Sophia to cover his gen Ed’s!
