The motor started running only a few cylinders so it was limped of the side of the road and roadside came to get it. The lights just went off and no warnings and dash lights. This was after about 30 miles and 5 ignition cycles. I did notice that the engine temps yesterday for both the water and the oil were lower than I would expect by about 40 degrees F.The gas cap solution worked, thank you! I also had the same warning lights flashing/on simultaneously: cruise control, check engine, xmode, brake but car seemed to be fine. I wiped the gas cap seal and all around it and the gas cap area itself.
