This was a no thrills parkerized 1911 that was very close to what was issued to the G.I.s during WWII. 500-800 is a good price point. If you want a ccw 1911, I'd buy a workhorse 1911, so I'd steer clear of a nice blued colt (I bought my beautiful colt xse 1911 practically new for 600 and can't bring myself to even use it) Depending on what you find attractive, go with parked, stainless or the various other finishes out there.
